I heard the same thing. Still the Rockets dumped $21,537,500 of salary for $17,698,200. Not a bad deal.

Neither the Clips nor Cavs have anyone with as bad a contract as Weatherspoon. If New York is able to get a better deal for Mooch, CD is going to look very foolish.

If it's for Melvin Ely, that would really suck!

    Mooch :(
Even though he's not a Rocket anymore and didn't do extremely well with us, I'm sad that this is happening to him :(

BTW...like Weatherspoon, Moochie can not be combined with another player to an over the cap team prior to the trade deadline. IOW, it must be 1 or 2 incoming contracts.

My guess is it's Olden Polynice. :D

but is there like a rule where a player who was traded cannot be traded again for like 60 or 90 days or something like that?

I believe that just-traded player (in this case, Mooch) could be traded again before that 60-day rule IF the team trades away no other players with him, i.e., you cannot combine any other player with Mooch to send him out, it would have to be, say, Mooch for Shaq (ahem).

    my thoughts exactly shady...

mooch was a horrible ball hog last nite in NYC

it took NY to realize mooch sucks in 10 mins...it took Houston how long?

You are absolutely right. I think Moochie costed New York a game last night. When he came out in the fourth quarter, New York was leading. By the time he went back to the bench, New York was behind by three or four. From thence on, they lost the momentum and could never recover.

Moochie did a really good job in dribbling and shooting 1-4 FG. Haha. :D
