These three have been playing below par this year and this is one of the reasons for the recent losses. Their combined shooting % is 35%! Shoot 43% (league average) and we win 2 more games!

You fix this, we win more!

Also, Griffin and Mooch have to shoot their free throws better....50 and 60% are not cutting it.......

the Rockets are playing good enough defense and moving the ball enough (Francis with 10 assts last night for example) and if these guys hit their shots better, we win last night.....

so, you can blame the coaches for now making these guys shoot more during practice and not working on shooting, but let's get real. We hit open shots more consistently and we win!!!

Right now, we are not a good shooting team

Mooch deserves to ride the pine for a while after that 4th quarter collapse. Just sit him out completely for a few games and hopefully he will realize that he needs to improve.

I have no problem with the way Taylor has been playing. Considering he is still recovering from injury, I think he's been contributing nicely. The Rockets really missed his dunking ability last year...he makes sure when he has a path to the basket that his shot won't get blocked.

And Griffin. I'm a bit worried with his struggling post game, but we have to remember he is still very young. His defense, (jump) shooting, and rebounding have been pretty good. The main problem I see with the post game is that he forces the shot too much, and his footwork seems to be very slow when making his move. Let's hope this will improve so he can become some kind of low post threat.

MoT I am less worried about since his shot will come with more playing time. He most likely has a lot of rust to chip away after missing all of last year and most of training camp then being out the 1st 5 games.

EG is young but that is not excuse. He must and will get better.

Mooch, I expexted better FT shooting and better ball-handling but have not gotten either of them. The lack of those traits cost us a win on Sunday. Mooch is vet and needs to act like one.

I say Tito should get in the game.

Mooch sucks and will not get better.

Taylor should get better as he gets more comfortable. Remember he's been out for over a year.

Griffin--am I the only one that thinks he is playing fairly well overall. He's had a couple of bad games but other than that, when he plays (he can't control if Rudy decides to play KT or MT more because they are on) he's played pretty well on both ends.

No, you're not the only one who thinks Griffin is playing fairly well overall. I can already see leaps & bounds of improvement from last year.

I'm not concerned about Mo either. Mooch has lost favor among us fans, and needs to prove himself before he's the 12th man on the bench. I think KT looks lost out there, but I think it may simply be he needs more minutes to get more comfortable, but unfortunately we don't have enough minutes to go around, especially with Rice catching fire as of late.
