I know that I will receive alot of critizism for saying this, but Moochie deserves to be a starter in the NBA. I am in no way saying he should be the starting PG for the Rox, but I am sure in the heck glad he plays for us as the #1 back up. I know that he is small and his "D" is suspect, but team defense can usually make up for the lack of individual defense. Offensively, he is amazing to me. He took what the opposition defense gave him and did not try to force things, all the while breaking ankles left and right. The one move he made last night (you all know which one I am talking about!) going to the basketball was sooo incredible that not only did it break the ankles of the defender, but I got faked out of my chair and fell down with an ankle sprain.

I love our small-ball line up. It might be totally ineffective in a play-off, half-court game, but it is exciting as hell (can I say that....apologies if no). Small-Ball for the next 80 games and rest Dream, Cato, Taylor for the playoffs.

One Fanatical Fan of the Houston Rockets.

That's what the other teams will be saying after being shellshocked by Steve Francis and Co.

I agree, that once again RT and CD have gone and found a no name player that could very easily be a starter on other teams. From what I saw of him last year and this year, he seems to be very aware of where everyone is on the court. It's gotta be that afropuff radar! IMHHO, I like to see him in the game at PG and Francis over in the 2 hole. I just don't like the way that the Cat goes ISO 95% of the time. Cat can play, but last night when he came out bombing 3's and missing, then trying to ISO and taking low % shots can really break down the momentum. Should he stop...not really, just limit the number of times, and for pete's sake when your behind by 7 and there is 2 minutes left, stop eating up 20 seconds trying to dribble your man to death out at the three point line.

I wish Mooch would look to pass a little more though. When Steve goes out we should be looking to get the other guys (Cat, Taylor, Walt) more shots. Mooch 1-on-1 should only happen if the clock is running down and there is an obvious mis-match.

FranchiseCat,you'll get no criticism from me!! I still say he is playing a better overall game than Francis, especially when it comes to running the offense. Now, I'm not saying Moochie should be our starting PG either. I'm just really impressed with his aggressivness on both ends of the court...and the man has one wicked crossover!!
