the NBA scheduled only ONE GAME this weekend, and if the Celts pull it out there will be NO GAMES over the weekend - but we get game seven on MONDAY !!!?!?!?

David Stern - stop worrying about your players off court attire, and start looking at your scheudle

Yeah, that's a little weird. What happened to 40 games, 40 nights? Oh well, I hope David West will be 100% so we will see a good game 7 between the Spurs and the Hornets.

no the ECF game 1 or the celts/cavs game 7 will be on sunday regardless.

I do think its r****ded to have possibly 2 game 7s on Monday though. The hornets/spurs game should be on sunday that still gives them 2 days of rest between games (instead of just one like between 5 and 6) and its not like NO and SA are that far the plane ride isnt that long.

There would be more ratings on sundays and the worst part about having the 2 game 7s on monday is the timing. Both games would be western conference games so like one will have to start at like 730 eastern or maybe earlier. i mean how many people will stay up late to watch a possible lakers/jazz game 7 when the game itself starts at 1030 eastern? I am surprised stern dropped the ball on this one

this made no sense to me either.

why are the spurs/hornets given 3 days off? don't tell me it's due to the travel because the other series' have one day off with travel in between games.

spurs hornets should be on saturday. possible game 7's (lakers/jazz celtics/cavs) should be a double header on sunday.

This is one of the reasons Stern sucks. Can you imagine if he was the commissioner for MLB? They'd be having days off between games in a series so he could make sure there was a game on tv every day. NFL, they'd be playing games every day of the week instead of Sundays and Monday.

I hate it when they have 2 or 3 games on a week night. And they always play the good game the last. I would end up going to bed at 1 and only sleep for 6 hours.

The casual sports fan thinks the NBA is boring because of an 82 game season. Extending the days between playoff games doesn't help.

What the nba should do is take a 3 month break between the end of the regular season and the start of the playoffs! that way, our beloved rockets will always be at full strength. :D

Dictator Stern at it again. For once, however, this is good for me. I hardly ever get to see the Sunday games but I'm always home on week nights.

3 days of rest vs. 1 day of rest for West

but I see what you're saying, the rest benefits the Spurs too...

but the Hornets have the slight advantage with their youth, speed, and of course, crowd
