Moments that make you proud to be a gamer

I used to be able to beat the original Super Mario Bros game in Nintendo without dying.

Simpler time back then. just arrows and A+B

 

The day I quit gaming cold turkey.

 

I'm not a 'gamer' per se... And there's no way for me to post it.

But, kicking a 60 yard field goal with Neil Rackers against a friend this past weekend on Madden 12 in OT, and winning $100 in process was AMAZING.

 

First thing that comes to mind for epic video game moment.

the crowd started to gather behind me to watch me play instead of 3D

that was pretty awesome

 

That's an automatic watch. Haha. Over under on how many drugs that guys on.

 

I'm not a "gamer" althought I do play a little Madden, NCAA, and GTA IV. Never online, though. That's a little too dorky for me. No offense.

BF1942 is my favorite game of all time, being able to get on the wing of a B17 and parachute into enemy bases en masse.....pure fun.

Delivering the final dragon punch to m.bison's face in street fighter II on 8 stars difficulty. Indeed, simpler times.

In the video posted by Dei, the bazooka is fired, the plane is destroyed, and yet there is a bazooka shot trail still going after the plane is destroyed going away from the plane (like it went right through it). Therefore, my conclusion is the plane had a catastrophic failure (or a bomb on a timer was planted) that caused the plane to explode and the bazooka shot went right through just after the explosion. But, it was still heli-cool to see the pilot bail from the plane, somehow arm himself with a bazooka in mid-air, make the shot, put his bazooka back up, fall back to his original pilotless plane, make a hard landing on the plane, climb in through the cockpit window, and regain control of the plane. Only Tom Cruise could pull that move off. lol

 

my 11 year old and i got to level 35 on kino der totten. we re-enacted the awards sequence from the end of Star Wars upon completion; including me making my best chewie howl. ok, that didn't happen, but we did get to level 35.

I was also looking for an old Team Fortress 2 video (that I think I posted here before)...where some guy spent his entire ten minute round running around screaming at people for not having two medics on him. It was ten minutes of pure hilarity. RAWBERRY!
