Ok, so I am getting ready to move out of this apartment complex. Having kids we already know we got some stuff were gonna be paying for (young young kids, spilling drinks, writing on walls) but at the same time we noticed just after the recent rain showers, the kids room started smelling. Smelling like wet.....wetness....I dont know how to describe it. Kids dont use that room so not much activity in it. Just get their clothes and toys. So we dont really go into too much but after a while the smell started becoming stronger and after investigating a bit more we found mold. A lot. After moving the bed, saw that the carpet was very moist. Saw a wet like pattern like midway going downward on the corner of the wall. Tried cleaning it up with mold specialized cleaners. Really didnt phase it. So my question, is this something we have to pay for as well??? We ended up throwing away a lot of toys and furniture that was store in that room. Also when looked outside, same exact spot on the outside wall, you could see a heavy mold line from the roof on down. So I know its not something cuased from a few rain storms.
