I would love to trade up in the draft like everyone else. But, looking at the teams at the top, it seems unlikely. Most likely we will draft from our number 9 spot. Looking at all the draft picks and who the Rockets like and could use, it looks like one of three players will be a Rocket come June 28. To me it looks like these players would be Jerome Moiso, Mike Miller, and Dermarr Johnson. So, if it came down to these three guys, who would you take and why? My personal choice would be Moiso, although I also really like Miller. I think Moiso with his size and athletism has the chance to be a perfect fit on our team. Anyway, who would you take?

Moiso is a big guy and can boost up the front court. I've seen that he is ranked higher than fizer on the power ranking for power forwards. However Fizer proved to have heart in the clutch.

Moiso will be gone by the 9th pick. Miller is going to be taken by the Hawks. Johnson may be taken by the bulls. Ah, I just don't think that any of these three will fall into the Rockets laps.

    1. Martin
    2. Swift
    3. Fiezer
    4. Mihm
    5. Miles
    6. Miller
    7. Johnson
    8. Moiso
    9. Alexander
    10. Richardson

So, I just don't see these guys falling into the Rockets lap. But I've been known to be wrong before. Hardy har har ha ha ha!!!

IMO, obviously miller. He will have good chemistry with Franc, Mob, ander. Miller can run the court ( like almost evone on the roxs) gives us the outside shot and can score by himself. But I dont know of Mosio sice, I've never seen him play
Tell me how good is he and how does he play?

This draft is weak. We need to be in the top 4 to get MArtin,Swift, or Fizer. That being said... the only players I see left are Darius Miles (probably gone), Dermarr, Miller...after that it's all 2&3's we don't need Courtney Alexander. Morris Peterson maybe?? Moiso has all kinds of talent, but I don't know about him. I say of those players take Dermarr. He could be our 3 at 6'10" .I say unless we move up to the top 5....we need to hope for Dermarr.

You know, since the Magic fell out of the top 5, they likely will want Moiso at #10 and may be willing to deal with the Rockets if he and Miller are on the board just to move up one spot to get him.

Something I could see is the #10 and any one of Mike Doleac, Pat Garrity (a PF), and Matt Harpring (a SF who has fallen somewhat out of favor this past season) going to the Rockets for the #9 pick, where the Magic get Moiso and the Rockets get Miller *plus* a player who can shoot the ball and won't want the ball to flow through their hands all the time, qualities of which all three of the aforementioned players have. Any comments?

Flash 2000 all those guys are garbage. They didn't produce on a non playoff team what does that tell you? Doleac is a Joe Klein and Garrity is a full headed Danny Ferry, and Harpring is no good either. They would be depth but we are not in a position 2 need more depth we need starters.

I don't see any way that Moiso is gone before pick 9. None of the mock drafts I've seen have him gone, and I don't see where he could go. Cleveland already has Kemp- they need a SG and a center way more than a PF. Chicago already has Brand at the PF, and Atlanta is looking for a SF. I don't see how he could be gone. At least one of Miller/Johnson will be on the board. The Bulls will take Miles with the #4 pick, and Johnson plays the same position. They will be looking for a SG like Alexander, or a center like Pryzbilla. They won't take Johnson or Miller, and neither will Cleveland since they are set at that position. Now Atlanta could take one of Miller/Johnson, but the other should fall to us along with Moiso.
