Thanks for getting this up and running Clutch. For those of you not familiar with this, check out the announcement. For those wanting to share their mocks with everyone else, you need to make sure you enabled it publicly, then you need to share your ID #. My ID is 2741 and you can see my Mock Draft here
Check out my mock. I had a little bit of fun with the comments: http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/mockdraft/index.cfm?fuseaction=mockdraft&xMockID=2786 Although it doesn't allow paragraphs, which messed up some of the spacing of my messages.
Thanks for the feedback ... fixed now. Any errors and/or user experience problems are the type of feedback I really hope people will post in this thread -- I'll get on them if I can. I put a lot of time in to the edit mock screen, so I'm hoping to make it as user-friendly as possible.
This is fun. I liked my Jazz reasoning. http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/mockdraft/index.cfm?fuseaction=mockdraft&xMockID=2819
The page looks great! I just finished my mock. My ID # is 2829. Click here to view my Mock Draft Hopefully my draft is wrong and we are able to take Gay or Roy, but I just don't see it happening. Pugs
I've been playing with the Mock perhaps too much. I wondered how it would shake out if the GMs were dictated by democratic majority on the BBS. They take the guy we voted for the most, unless he was already taken, in which case they go for the second most popular guy (indicated by the number in parentheses after the name). 1. Toronto: Aldridge (#1) 2. Chicago: Bargnani (#2) 3. Charlotte: Morrison (#1) 4. Portland: Tyrus Thomas (#2) 5. Atlanta: Marcus Williams (#1) 6. Minnesota: Gay (#1) 7. Boston: Roy (#1) 8. Houston: Carney (#1) 9. Golden State: O’Bryant (#1) 10. Seattle: Shelden Williams (#1) 11. Orlando: Brewer (#1) 12. New Orleans: Cedric Simmons (#2) 13. Philadelphia: Rondo (#1) 14. Utah: Redick (#1) It was interesting to see some guys have a strong team affiliation, like Utah getting Redick at over 40%, while Philly in the previous pick has Marcus Williams as number 1 at almost 13%. Also, most guys votes sort of swell up as you go down the list, hit #1 and then subside again. But, O'Bryant is taken, then his votes subside only to swell to #1 again several picks down, 9 and then 12.
Yeah I made a lot of bad jokes too: http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/mockdraft/?fuseaction=mockdraft&xMockID=2825
I've noticed that a lot of people have LaMarcus going #1. However, all signs are pointing to Toronto taking Bargnani #1 as long as they don't trade down. Bargnani's manager is moving into their front office for Pete's sake. I'm not trying to tell anyone how they should draft, but if you're curious to see if you can get the picks right and you're not just screwing around like I'm sure some people are, keep an eye on that Bargnani situation. Just a heads up. EDIT: Here's my mock...it has loooong explanations. Please read them ClutchCityReturns Mock Draft 2006
Man such a crap shoot. I didn't put Splitter in there as i'm not sure of his status. My ID is 2909, link is below: http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/mockdraft/?fuseaction=mockdraft&xMockID=2909
