I have been a rockets fan my entire life, and have supported them through thick and thin, but I dont think I can watch one more game with Mobley on the court. Sure he is an all right shooter but Rudy needs to teach that fool how to pass before I puke all over my Etonics
He'll be the last one to buy into the team concept. But sooner or later he'll come around. He has too!
I think I've FINALLY figured it out! The player/coach bashing goes in cycles. For a couple of weeks, there will be some Mobley bashing, then some Mo Taylor bashing, then some Rice bashing, then some Moochie bashing, then some Steve bashing, then some Rudy bashing. Griffin bashing has just recently been introduced, so he should be in the heavy bashing rotation pretty soon. The exception to this rule is Cato, who is bashed around here ALL the time! Maybe, there is a "Wheel of Bashing", where a big wheel is spinned and, depending on which player shows up, that person is the designated bashee for the month.
Don't mess with the Catomic Bomb. I just jumped on the bandwagon, so there is nothing that he is lacking right now. He is the center of the future.
Until the Rockets go 82-0 one season, somebody will be bashed no matter how they are playing. actually even ifwe go 82-0 someone will find a reason to hate.
They bring it on themselves. If they show no improvement, or hustle. They need to be bashed. I did notice the Griffin bashing. I was not one of them. Why bash him for one game? People bash Cato for his performance (or lack there of) from the whole season. Hawkins has received praise because he's shown consistency. That's all we want. Consistency.
Mobes is a very important part of the Rockets, he just needs to be a little more decerning and take only high percentage shots! The others can be passed to the open men waiting to shoot in the Game. Only Rudy T has the power to use Mobes and Francis in a Team Concept, when will he do it, for our sake and the Teams?
I like the Wheel of Bashing idea,,,I suggest one spot for each player,,,then give Kelvin about ten extra spots to keep it fair.....
That's too bad; we hardly knew you. But, the fact is Mobley will continue to be a scoring machine for the Rockets, logging 40 minutes a game by the looks of it, and probably will not have a radical change to his game. I think you're going to have to make do without watching Rockets games for years to come.

The funny thing about all this is, if Cuttino didnt force so many shots, and instead, took less contested shots by making defenses respect his passing, he might indeed shoot 50%.
Oh good lawdy! This Cuttino bashing makes me want to vomit. Cuttino is so important to this team. Even if his shooting percentage isn't quite 50%, he can score at will. If the points aren't coming from Francis, who else besides Mobley will step up? I have yet to see Rice,Mo or Kenny, because of injuries, but I'm not expecting major contributions from any of them until mid season. It would be great if I'm wrong and each player makes an immediate impact. Also, hasn't Cuttino played the most years on the Rockets? (based on the current roster.) I think Mobley deserves more respect and loyalty. But then again.....Cuttino is my favorite player Cod
Why should Cat pass the damn ball? I don't undestand the asinine ideology on how Cuttino causes folk's entertainment value to falter...Come on! Are we a bunch of sniffling children in need of serious boot camp? See Cat dribble, see Cat shoot, see Cat score..., shoot Cat, shoot!...Didn't he have 4 or 5 assists last time? Cat is a shooting guard! A shooting guard! He is to shoot and score and guess what folks he is doing just that! in my view, this player is the heart and soul of the team... Some of you kids weren't born yet, but in the late 80's, early 90's fans would scream at the dam T.V. for some player on the Rockets team to shoot the ball! SHOOT THE BALL!!!! I'd scream this at an antiquated T.V. till I got red and foamed at the mouth...A lot of you folks know what I am talking about..."shoot the ball"...Do we really want to go back to those tortureous days? ....If I became a player in the NBA, I'd be Cuttino Mobley,...maybe... perhaps, the greatest 2 guard in the game right now...bang, bang!....shoot!
