Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it when I looked...

It looks like Mobley is going to be fined for comments that he made after the game about the officiating (The worst I've seen since the Lakers vs Kings game.)

Houston’s Cuttino Mobley can expect a call from the NBA today. There seems to be a good chance that he’ll be donating something to the "NBA Fined Players Fund".

Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express-News reports that Mobley had a couple of things to say about the officiating during the Rockets’ loss to the Spurs on Monday. After an 11-0 deficit in free throws during the first half, Mobley was issued a technical for throwing his mouthpiece after a blown call by the officials.

His frustration came to a boil after the officials ruled that a ball that went out of bounds was last touched by Mobley. They awarded possession to the Spurs. Replays later showed that the Spurs’ Stephen Jackson was the last to touch the ball.

After the game, Mobley shouted at official Bob Delaney.

"San Antonio had help," Mobley said. "It's as simple as that. They can't beat us straight up and they know it."

man...that's a bold freaking comment coming from a player on a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a LONG time!!!

i say that as a huge rocket fan and mobley fan....but geez....try getting to the playoffs first before opening your mouth like this against a perennial championship contender who has beaten you 9 straight times on their home court.

The starters did not play well and the officials were terrible. Which hurt them most? I don't know, but it must have been hard getting into game rhythm when the refs were obvious freaking with their brains.

They last time Mobley said something this brash, we lit Dallas up and beat them by 30 points. Lets hope history repeats itself tonight.

the officiating in the NBA is all over the place. it's ridiculous...

on another officiating note... Why is it that no ref can throw the ball high enough for a decent tip off when Ming is in? I'd rather see EG go for the tip if it's going to be more fair for EG than Ming...
