    Man, does this sound like Sir Charles or what? :)

    <i>"That one ref (Pat Fraher), he's terrible, he's just terrible," Mobley said. "He's seriously terrible. The tape doesn't lie. That's one thing that doesn't lie, the tape. It's one thing to be human, it's another to be r****ded.

    "I know I'm going to be fined for this. There's a first time for everything. He's terrible and he knows who he is. He needs to go back down to the CBA or wherever he came from. You can watch the TV. All I did was shadow (Miller). He missed the first call when Moochie Norris pump faked. Moochie didn't lean into the dude. He went up and got knocked down. He (Fraher) come back down and missed another one, and a key one. He's terrible."</i>

    Wow....I wonder if losing 12 in a row is a bit frustrating.

    Hey Cat...no matter HOW terrible he is, if you start passing the F)(%^)(*& ball around instead of trying to go one on one every time you might not blow 11 point leads so often.

    The problem with Cuttino, and I have said this before, is that he is really the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.

    If I only had a brain.......

    DaDakota

    PS I wonder how the r****ded comment is thought about by people with r****ded relatives? Cat.....not the sharpest tool in the shed.

    You know, I come down on Cat for making some dumbass decisions, but how the hell can you blame the guy for shooting on this team in its current state? As far as I'm concerned, I don't know who else on this team I'd want shooting more with our current injuries. We have Cat, Oz, and KT. Outside of that, it's comical what type of offensive threat we pose to teams.

    I love Cat and all, but... He just paid at least $5,000 just to vent to reporters. Couldn't he have kept it in the locker room? Rich people... :confused:

    Leyton Hewitt got in a fair degree of trouble earlier in the year for calling a tennis umpire/linesperson r****ded.

    Big fine on the way

    I don't mind Mobley shooting, but they should be GOOD shots, not forced.

    Too often he tries to do it on his own. If he passed the ball more to open teamates the team would be better for it.

    The biggest problem the Rockets have is not trusting each other.

    Rarely does the star player hit the clutch shot, it is usually a role player.

    Start playing unselfish basketball, and we would win occasionally with this lineup.

    I like this comparison.

    Cat = Scarecrow - No brain
    Cato = Tin Man - No heart
    Walt = Wizard
    Oscar = Oz
    Moochie = Munchkin

    The offense hasn't been better all season than the last two games, aside from the Mavs game. The defense is what has gone to hell. The Rockets lost this game because they couldn't get a stop down the stretch. Oh, and Willis missing those freebies didn't help. Mobley didn't shoot well, but I thought he did a good job starting the offense. He took the right number of "selfish" shots for a guy in his position.

    I understand Mobes frustration, but there is never an excuse for poor taste. That is a hurtful - mean thing he said. The referee was incompetent, while Mobes now looks like a jerk. He has hurt himself here. I am a big Mobley fan.

    I agree with DaDakota, Mobley was a ball hog. The only time we used a decent offense was when Griff, TMo, Tierre, Oz, and Wizard were in, and THAT is when we took the lead and built it to eleven points. Not when we had our starters in dribbling the shot clock away for crappy looks.
