I don't know how he feels about coming off the bench. He should appreciate that he's on the floor when the final buzzer sounds though. I know that Rudy likes to bring him off the bench to provide some instant energy, and that sounds to me like a bigger compliment than having your name announced at the beginning of a game.
Hopefully he would want to stay with his new-found-friend-Francis and Mr. Players Coach. Or maybe he would want to learn new languages. KAPAYAA!
Coming off the bench allows him to get more touches. For a scorer like Mobley, who needs the ball, he's gotta be happy with that. Rudy does go with the small 3 guard lineup sometimes, but you have to consider matchups. Shandon versus, say Anthony Mason, is a recipe for disaster... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
I know that our chances of keeping Mobley have been talked about before, but I don't know if this question has ever been answered: Does Mobley mind coming off the bench? Will that have any effect on whether or not we'll be able to keep him? We're kind of committed to starting Anderson already. If Mobley does mind coming off the bench, should we we start our small lineup (Francis, Mobley, Anderson)? I haven't heard anything about it being a problem. Has anybody else?
