"Cuttino Mobley will miss tonight's contest after aggravating an ankle injury in last night's game." From Rockets.com

Hawkins will start as will Yao.

    There you go. HP:)

I noticed he seemed uncomfortable last night. hell steve looked like crap too

infact I thought Yao looked very uncomfortable(almost lost). but this is beacuse he is well foreign to this in more than one way. I was impressed with Yaos results concidering how unnatural he looked. I am scared with how he will be doing once he gets comfortable.
but I suspect the nba coaches will have devise a way to slow him down by then Ah-La Hack a shaq

Let the teams slow Yao down the "hack-a-Shaq" way. That translates into more points for us. The guy is freakin' automatic from the line.

Confirmed by Sportsradio 610 as a "sprained ankle." This has been an ongoing problem since August, and Cuttino had an MRI on it today. No results yet, but more details are expected this evening.

Hack a shaq was because Shaq was a horrible free throw shooter. Yao on the other hand is an excellent FT shooter currently 74% or better.

Well that explains Cats horrid play as of late. Get Cat out ASAP and let him rest up. Give more minutes to Rice and we're fine. Hopefully Cat wont be out for too long though. By the way, where the heck is Cato? Why hasnt he played the last two games? Granted, lots of time went to Ming, but Collier before Cato, whats the deal with that?

Did you say "ankle" or "ego" injury?

Thanks for the heads up, Blatz.

This may explain a LOT. Hope it's not serious.

    Hawkins and YAO starting. Wow!
I guess Cato is as Cato does.

I think the Rockets could use alot of time WITHOUT Mobley to gel as a team. I think not having Mobley will be a blessing in disguise and allow Yao to work in with the team.

I think nothing is better for the Rockets offense in the future, than to work on passing down low and then out, and reversing the ball in a half court set against a zone. None of that takes place when Mobley is on the court with the ball.

Can anyone explain to me how Cato is well enough to visit strip clubs after the death of his grandmother but still not ready to play? Is he slowly changing form into the incompetent Cato we have grown to despise, the Cato of last year? I can't figure out what's keeping him from not getting any playing time, but I don't mind Yao starting. Just hope I'm wrong about his work ethic...

and what happens when teams use a zone? who are going to take the open available jumpshots? KT, Hawkins, Rice, or Moochie? all of their shooting % is worse than Cat's.

Now is the time for Mobley and Francis to start gelling with Ming; anyone sitting out hurts that phase. Poor Cat has to sit out cause of injury. but dont ever take Cat for granted!!!

How can lossing Mobley be a good thing? You people are stupid, yea Mobley makes mistakes but he is a good player. Lossimg him hurts bad, we could lose tonight because of that. I guess that means Boki is going to play more?

HeyDude, are you the same heydude from Mavstalk 2.0?

Where do you have that with the strip clubs from? I guess he needed some consolation after the death of his grandmother or something?

I don't think Cat being out for an extended period of time is a good thing, but in tonight's situation we may be better off having Hawks defense against Stack and MJ.

Anytime Cat misses a game is bad for the Rockets. I mean, just look at what happened to us last night when we played without him.:D

Seriously, get better fast Cat. Without you,Hawk has to play more and that's good. Unfortunately it also means more time for Mooch...and that's bad!
