Mobley or Francis???

I would trade Francis because at shooting guard there is not that much of a difference between the two and Francis would get much more value. That being said I would trade either one of them unless it lands us an established franchise player.

 

IF you saw this on another thread (actually, the Thread that is specifically about this very subject) , why didn't you post it there?

I will never understand how people think Mobley is even slightly close to Steve's level.

The Rockets were 2-25 without Steve and with Mobley in 01-02 What does that tell you?

That's an idiotic suggestion. SF and Cat are nowhere close the Jordan and Pippen's lvl during those years.

 

I think we only won a few games without Mobley also. I forgot the exact number but it was almost as bad.

I don't really remember the Rox playing games without Mobley that Francis played in. I do know that this year in the pre-season the Rox won games without Mobley and Francis playing.

But, as it stands, I like the way this team has looked so far. Just give them time to all gel...the core of this team is Yao, Francis and Mobley has really shown me that he can tone his game down a but in order for Yao to further prgress. Why are we even having these type of threads still is what I don't understand.

 

Why trade them? Keep them until we don't need them.

It's not idiotic at all. Francis and Cat are arguably as important to this team as Jordan and Pippen were for their team. Not better, but as important. Yao is great, but without Cat and Francis, Yao would be lost right now. With Cat and Francis Yao can develop into a dominant player without any pressure. I think that is what they mean when comparing duos like Pippen and Jordan with Francis and Mobley.
