Bulls would be a great fit for Cat Mobley.

Why would you risk it at this point in your life? He had a great career and he has a serious heart condition that has already claimed the life of 2 players. Not worth it no matter how much you love the game.

He's in his late thirties? Either way he'll be retiring within one-two years of a comeback. So what's the point.

His condition must not be as bad as Lewis and Gathers. For a man who kept himself in prime condition, averaged around 75 games for 10 yrs, and played all through the summers, he lasted well past the age of Gathers and Lewis, and he never really had any issues from the condition that I recall, like the other two did. He certainly never collapsed on the court prior to the fatal one like Gathers/Lewis.

Never underestimate cuttino's conditioning. He was always a gym rat. Even as a Clipper he would rent a house in Vegas for the summer and have several NBA players join him to play every day.

Cuttino loves basketball. And it is said this happened. He probably misses it so bad. From the article, it sounds like he believes the Knicks screwed him, so they could right off his contract.

I don't think so. I think he just loves Basketball too much lol ... which isn't a bad thing but it sure isn't worth playing bball with his health issue.

I think he didn't want his career to end the way it did, he wants to go out on his own terms.

    Carried out on a stretcher?

We have seen too many of these deaths happen infront of audiences across the world....he needs to think rationally here.

I would be so psyched to see him in a Rockets uniform again. Even if he just sat on the bench I would be psyched.

i sincerely don't think he is doing just for cash, offcourse it could be one of the reasons. Who doesn't need more cash?

but i really think he genuinely love the game. Like someone else have said...I would love it if he could retire as a rocket. loved him and stevie when they were here. even he was in a JT type role, only play in blowouts..it would be great to just have him on the team again.
