I've always tried to back up Mo when he's been gettin bashed, but he truly disappointed me this Sacramento game. First game against the Kings, Mo Tay has a bad game. I expected him to play with fire tonight and redeem himself. He did not even come close. I thought a chance to prove himself to Cwebb, and to his team when they truly needed him would get him fired up and playing well. I was WRONG. And on top of that, Kenny played much better D on Cwebb, even blocking him once, so it wasnt that Cwebb was COMPLETELY unstoppable(though he nearly was).

But, maybe, hopefully, this poor performance was just becuz of the flu that MO had. He was expected to miss some more games, so he probably was playing under the influence of the flu.

I dont know; I hope it was the flu, but if it wasnt, then I am very disappointed in Taylor this game. This is not to say that he wont be a good fit... I still have faith in him to be a good player on this team. But what kills me the most is, in the game that the Rox needed his presence the most, he plays like crap.

He would have been much better if he had played. All I saw was Webber streaking past Kenny the whole game.

Mo did play...how do you think that Webber got 37 pts....at least 30 on Mo.

Mo must go, he is TERRIBLE, he is a SF trapped in a PF body.

    MO MUST GO !!!

He played 14 minutes. Webber got those points on Kenny (shorty) Thomas.

Webber torched Mo in the 1st and 3rd quarters...He also scored on KT, but KT blocked Webber 2 times. At least he was playing defense.

It is time for a shakeup.

I was waiting for a post saying KT played good defense b/c he had a few blocks on C-Webb. Typical. Forget the fact that Webber blew up for a season high while KT played the lion's share of the mins, KT had a few nice blocks so all of a sudden he had a good defensive game. Dakota takes to another level with a completely false statement "at least 30 on Mo."

In any case, Mo played poorly for the time he was in, but he really didnt get much PT. I would understand if KT was playing better but he wasnt. Webber was shooting over KT, going around him to the basket, getting his jump hook going and overall just dominating the shorter Thomas.

Actually, Mo was still feeling pretty awful. He wasn't even expected to play but felt a little better Friday morning. He probably shouldn't have played at all.

    Mmanal,

Webber did score on KT too, but at least KT was hustling out there and trying to compete. Mo looks like a deer in headlights on defense.

I am getting sick of people apologizing for this "Ballsack" of a player. Mo Taylor can kiss my grits.

He is a cancer with his lacadasical attitude. We need someone that breathes fire to play PF, someone to put an elbow in someone's eye when they get to close to the basket.

Dare I say it? The Rockets lack HEART, they are all playing like they are just happy to be in the NBA. Screw that, it is about WINNING in the NBA, not just playing.

Do I think they want to win..I think some of them do, but they lack that inner toughness, that committment to defense that it takes. It could be their youth, and probably is, but it still is sickening to watch.

MO STINKS....and deserves a new nickname...I think DINGLEBERRY would suffice.

This game tonight proves that the Rockets more than likely don't have a chance this year to compete for a playoff spot in the West, because they don't have a legit power forward. The big time teams in the West have pretty solid power fowards and the Rockets just can't compete at that position.
Therefore, until they get a legit power forward, they can't expect to be one of the contenders in the West.

We should just cut Mo. Pig can have Mo's spot on the roster. We should skip the IR dance and just cut Mo.

NBA.com originally said 14, but 21 is still too few. I can accept that he was sick though.

    Jeff:

Thx for the input. I feel better about MO's poor performance now... hopefully he can recover quickly and step it up soon. We need him.

I didnt say Kt played good defense... I said he played better defense. Kt was still gettin burnt, but at least there were some signs of defense like a block or something. Either way, the double team was slow in coming as you already stated in your other thread.
