Report: Peterson agrees to $23M deal with Hornets
ESPN.com reports, "NBA free agent Morris Peterson agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the New Orleans Hornets on Friday, multiple sources say."

I wonder if they are expecting Peja to miss more time?

They simply needed a shooting guard (that can actually shoot) with the ability to slide over to SF when Peja's back is acting up. That's what they got.

Utah lost interest in MoPete, as soon as Fish left. They spent their money on Jason Hart.

No, Utah STEPPED UP their interest in Mo Pete once Fisher left. Only when Mo Pete decided to go to the Hornets did Utah go to its backup plan in Jason Hart.

Fisher was playing the 2 for them. If anything, they would try harder to get Mo Pete in order to fill the whole they have at the 2.
