He should have stayed in school for atleast one more year. He has the skill to one day be a solid pro, but he is coming off a year in which the entire Longhorn squad couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. I personally think that Darren Kelly had a much better season with a lot less talent than Maurice

Another example of how people put crazy ideas into a player's head about being a first-rounder. He was clearly not ready for the next level. I look forward to having him serve me a monster at Freebird's next fall [IMG]
Seriously though, the guy needs alot of work. Maybe he'll play in the developmental league. The knock on Mo was that he shoots from the waist so his shot is easy to block unless he's wide open. As for the Horns, we'll be just fine without him: TJ Ford, Chris Owens, Boddicker, and James Thomas will dominate the Big XII again.

ESPN did an article on Mo Evans. Damn Coach Barnes and Cousins don't feel bad for him at all, nor do I.

"Evans could graduate in December and wouldn't have had to really go to school during the second semester of his senior year. Instead, he could end up in a place like Fayetteville, N.C., in the developmental league. He'll go back to his $30 motel and watch Texas-Arizona on TV and watch them talk about Brandon Mouton when it could have been him," Cousins said.

I just think Mo did not want to come back to school. I have no idea why he thought he would get drafted in round one, anyone can see that wasn't gonna happen.

I am hearing that the players at Texas don't like Barnes.

To be frank, I'm not sure Maurice can make the Chicago Bulls roster right now, much less an actual NBA team.
