I believe it was one of the first few "UFC Championships" I saw, where it was a playoff-type tournament, a very lighter guy met a heavier black dude. When the big guy went down, the lighter guy did a bunch of hits on the big guy and won because the big guy tapped out. I guess the end result was a true testament of strength, because the winner guy couldn't continue after they found out he had broken his hand from hitting the big guy so much.
Not surpised at all. A good heavyweight muay thai (or kyokushin or TKD) guy over 6' tall would have just done leg kicks on those kneecaps or just some good push/side kicks to the chest. Or just assume that he'd probably eaten in the last hour-and-a-half and just work his belly/kidneys.
