As someone who has watched almost every Clippers game, this guy has been horrendous this season! He does the same hesitation crossover and herky jerky pullup mid ranger while spamming way too many shots. He's sporting a cool 44 TS% so far this year. Brutal. It's kind of funny seeing him force contested shots like he feels he has to get enough looks in order to get his "quota" or something. For multiple reasons, I'm glad the Rockets cut their losses and moved on.
There are people here who said he was better than Jalen Green? And the same people defend essentially all of his outside of basketball hysterics.
I wonder how much bad habits Green picked up from his "twin". It's hilarious we had KPJ and Wood as our franchise players, literal basketball terrorism
What's REALLY sad is that KPJ's 4th rockets season (his last) was actually better than any season Jalen has had so far in his 4 rockets seasons.
Can we just grow up, move on, get over the guy and leave him out of the GARM? Take this trash to the NBA Dish.
Thanks, I was losing sleep over KPJ leaving... How could The Rockets ever recover? I can move on with my life now...
Law of thermodynamics. Finite energy. What would KPJ's offensive numbers in his fourth season be if he was asked to expend energy on the defensive end at Ime's expectations rather than Silas expectations. Green currently is a level of defender that KPJ never even was close to approaching and a lot of that is due to just expending so much more effort defensively and that's going to give you more tired legs on the offensive end. So either KPJ manned up under Ime and expended that energy on defense and his offense drops or he doesn't abide by Ime, gets his minutes significantly reduced to Cam Whitmore level.
This reminds me of my ex still talking crap about me when we’ve both moved on a long time. Always makes me think she’s still isn’t over me.
Alright, KPJ sucks so i assume his numbers would suck regardless of the coach, all i said was jalen has never had a season as good as KPJ's 4th rockets season, which is accurate. Someday he might (it's pretty sad it's even come to this), but he hasn't yet. His defense is also pretty massively overstated, he's fine but nothing special and the rockets are 10 points better on defense when he sits.
“as good” as KPJ’s last season as a Rocket when the team went 22-60? I don’t care how good your individual stats look when you’re leading a terrible team.
Exactly. Green is a good defender now. He makes plays and uses his quickness to stay in front of people. In my opinion, Green played his best game for us last night. He was great on both sides of the floor. Im not sure if it will take 20 games or 200 But I think he’s going to end up a multi time All-Star.
