Because I was in L.A. seeing Black Francis rock the house at The Mint. Going back tomorrow night for more and then meeting with him Sunday about the new rock opera we're making together. Could not possibly be more excited.

You need to convince him he needs to come play Houston. I have my pixies tickets, and I do love seeing them, but I prefer seeing Frank Black Francis shows as much if not more.

Even if it's just him and his guitar, I'm cool with that.

    Work your magic Batman.

Any excuse to post one of the many Frank Black photos I've taken.

I was just thinking about this the other day. The rock opera.

He played solo last night (just him and his guitar) and is again tonight as well. He played one song from each release, which was of course a full show since he has so many releases. And then he appropriately played "Los Angeles" for the encore. It was all great, and peppered with very funny banter between songs, but the highlight for me was "Angels Come to Comfort You," since that one's in the play.

I'd love to pick your brain about some sound issues I'm having.
