Min. 27-17 with approx 2 min. to go in the first. Come on Portland, do us a favor. ------------------ "You couldn't have stuck a pin up his @#! with a jackhammer. Yeah, I'd say he was pretty tight." -- Barkley on Minnesota's Chris Carr(thx RocksMillenium)after he missed a game winning free-throw.
Minnie Announcers: "So, where would you rank Terrell Brandon amongst point guards?" "Well, you have Payton, Kidd, Marbury. Then you have a guy like Nash, then Terrell." HELLOOOOOOO?! ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
Ooh, that makes me so damn angry...Steve Nash? Brandon? WTF! ------------------ Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go: "It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. That destiny is to play for the Houston Rockets, to bring them back to championship glory. One big man is all they need, and I believe I can fill that void. Thanks to the loyal fans in Sacramento, but Houston, Texas is where I belong."
Okay, does Minnesota ever miss? Ever? Ever? I hate it. They never miss. Wolves up 5. ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
Are these the TV announcers? or the radio announcers? I would assume that Jim Peterson would be in that conversation somewhere. ------------------ "You couldn't have stuck a pin up his @#! with a jackhammer. Yeah, I'd say he was pretty tight." -- Barkley on Minnesota's Chris Carr(thx RocksMillenium)after he missed a game winning free-throw.
within 34-37! c'mon blazers! ------------------ Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go: "It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. Halftime. Portland up, 62-59. ------------------ "You couldn't have stuck a pin up his @#! with a jackhammer. Yeah, I'd say he was pretty tight." -- Barkley on Minnesota's Chris Carr(thx RocksMillenium)after he missed a game winning free-throw.
Great Rasheed. Thanks. Rasheed ejected. Portland down 5. Rockets screwed. ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
Now Rasheed's been ejected. Suprise, suprise. Got thrown out (or at least the original tech) for saying,"I swear to God. Y'all better not blow that whistle no more on me for that." He thought he was fouled on an attempted alley-oop and was saying they shouldn't call a foul on him in the same situation at the other end of the floor. I don't know if he deserved ejection... ------------------ The season's almost over...and I still really need that keg of Pepto-Bismol. Time for #33 to step up! ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
Rasheed is an idiot. Why did he decide to do that this game? Now, nobody will be able to stop Garnett. Come on Portland, pull this sucker out!!!!!! [This message has been edited by today (edited April 01, 2001).]
Those refs blow the whistles too quickly with Rasheed. They know he's a hot-head, and they should just turn their heads and let him rant. ------------------ Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.
God I can't stand these Minny announcers. They just made a rude comment about the Blazers fans saying they were "so knowledgable" in a sarcastic manner, because they didn't agree with a foul call that the wolves announcers thought was pretty obvious. ------------------
Garnett just got a tech and argued the call a little. He got a lot more leeway than Wallace. ------------------ The season's almost over...and I still really need that keg of Pepto-Bismol.
Now Kemp gets a tech... 79-77 T Wolves. ------------------ The season's almost over...and I still really need that keg of Pepto-Bismol. [This message has been edited by AstroRocket (edited April 01, 2001).]
