Ming has this one post move that about 75% of the time gets blocked in his face. I think many of you know what I'm talking about. The one where he sets up on the right side down low then he tries to muscle his way to the left. Once that doesn't work he drops his right foot down and does a quick spin inside to the right and to the basket. His problem is he is consistently going up with his right hand instead of using his left. Is anybody pointing this out to him? Ideally if Ming can work on a left handed hook in the offseason that would likely be the best way to finish that move IMHO.

That move you described is not that bad, but the post up move that Yao needs to use is his up and under. It works every single time but he hasn't used it in a month probably. If you do one up and under move a game, it will make the defenders less agressive on the ball and he can have a field day shooting over the top of people. Lately he's been contested on his shots more often because he's doing less finesse move and more power (not his game yet). One day I hope he'll know how to use both power and finesse at the same time. He's not doing his jump hook as much as he should and not pumpfaking consistently at the right time. Once he mixes those 3 moves in, he'll be virtually unstoppable 1 on 1. I think he's just finding his way right now, he'll get a lot better posting up with experience.

Another thing, once he gets his defender in the air with his ball fake, he needs to learn how to draw the foul instead of trying to take him off the dribble. You'll be very vulnerable dribbling with 3 guys all over you at 7'5".
