Yao is only 22 and Steve is only what, 24-25? We have time. My first reason being a die-hard Rockets fan was the season before Ralph was drafted (12 wins or somethink like that). Yet we were in the playoffs three years ago and have had only two BAD seasons in twenty years. Yet in those few years we are stocked, loaded and ready to go. The true test for Ming is not his adjustment to the NBA games. Rather, it is the media and the negative criticisms without objectivity. This is the type of mental thing he needs to overcome.

I was listening to ESPN Radio before the season started, and the were dissing him the whole episode. They were taking calls from people that said that he will suck, and reading people's emails dissing Yao. They are so stupid.
