Let's cheer for the Kings! ------------------ They couldn't stop him in the early 90s; now they can't stop him in the 21st century -- Bill Worell on Phoenix defense on Hakeem
It will be a Kings shootout in the first half, but Garnett will lead a valient comeback then get ejected for yelling for joy after a dunk that slimmed the lead. Game over. Minnie loses 115-88 ------------------ Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go: "It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. That destiny is to play for the Houston Rockets, to bring them back to championship glory. One big man is all they need, and I believe I can fill that void. Thanks to the loyal fans in Sacramento, but Houston, Texas is where I belong." [This message has been edited by finalsbound (edited March 30, 2001).]
Well Garnett will be cancelled out by Webber, which means the other 4 circus midgets the Timberwolves have out there will have to make something happen. I hope the Kings just destroy them, demoralizing the pups for the rest of the season, allowing the Rockets to sneak into the 8th spot. Just a dream at this point though.. ------------------ [This message has been edited by tacoma park legend (edited March 30, 2001).]
The wolves will get whipped ass tonight and then back to back games with blazers. I still keep my hopes for the rockets playoff. ------------------ Rudy T. will find and fulfill Rockets destiny.
A-heyheyhey-MEN to that, tpl. If any remember, in a previous post I stated that my life contradicts what I think or say. I said the Rockets would get killed against the Jazz, and look what happened. I was extremely doubtful the Rockets would beat the Spurs, and they did. I was optimistic before the Suns game. Big mistake. Hey, I'm religious and everything, but my life is weird. So... Minnesota will kill the Kings. We will lose our next 10 games. Minnie will win their next 10 games. We will be in the draft lotto. let's hope this works!!! ------------------ Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go: "It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. I've never been more unconfident in a team before, than this one. I NEVER feel confident any game is a gimme with this team. They lose the games they're supposed to win, and win the games they're supposed to lose. Almost every game is stressful with this team. Since this team is unpredictable, I say they win 10 in a row. ------------------ [This message has been edited by tacoma park legend (edited March 30, 2001).]
Don't forget to say we're gonna keep Cato after this offseason and Webber's not coming here. ------------------
There is still hope. The Minnesota Timberwolves' schedule is tough. Hopefully they can lose some games so the Houston Rockets can move into the eighth seed in the playoffs. I am confident that the Rockets can make it to the playoffs! ------------------
Did you see that ... did you see that ... did you see that ...... the Pups lost! To every Rocket: Please win some damn games for us ... I bet ya'll good guys are gonna make the conference finals if you can squeeze into the playoffs ...... Damn it! I still believe!!!
