They just lost a critical game at Indiana to the Pacers, and now they're tied with the Pacers for the 8th spot wit ha record of 39-40, but the Pacers have the tie-breaker. What a disaster that team has become. I know the Rockets have the best record of any team not to make the playoffs, but do the Bucks become the most talented team not to make the playoffs? This is a team that went potentially being the class of the East and a legit title contender, to possibly looking towards the draft! My prediction, whether they make the playoffs or not, George Karl will do everything he can to get out of Milwaukee and get his dream job coaching the North Carolina Tarheels, and I think Sam Cassell and or Glenn Robinson will be traded. That team is in turmoil, injuries or no injuries.

Woe to them.

I could care less.

Robinson and Allen are insanely conceited and full of themselves, and Sammy's Sammy. What do you expect? I mean, really.

There was a thread from last spring with many on the Bucks' wagon because of:

The Big Three
The Outside Shooting
blah
blah
blah

I have been in favor of defense and rebounding as ways to improve a team and the Bucks in their current state are Poster Children for my viewpoint. They couldn't stop the mighty Brad Miller and only one of the Big Three had a good shooting night.

Milwaukee owns the tie breaker vs Toronto and Indiana, and the Raps still play them

dammit to hell why couldn't milwaukee have won. ray allen had two layups in OT that he missed. if milwaukee wins then indiana is 2 games back and toronto is almost in but now both indiana and milwaukee are only 1 game back. second, if milwaukee wins, they are tied with the raps and the raps have a better chance of not being in 7th. so they woulda been in eighth with a 2 game lead and now they are in 7th with a one game lead. worst of both worlds.

The Bucks really miss Lindsey Hunter off the bench as Sam's backup. Greg Foster has amounted to nothing.

Hunter is a very good backup, while Rafer Alston should be in the NBDL.

If you bear in mind that Sam has missed a few games, they really could have used Hunter.

Hunter was also Mil's best perimeter defender.

I have no idea whats wrong with them. Mason was brought in to shore up the interior, but they rarely give him the chance to actually do something with the ball. They should still be better then they are right now. They are almost an exact replica of the Maverics (- a seven footer who has an inside and an outside game), and the Mavs kick ass in the much tougher WC.

There's going to be a lot of changes next season with that team. There may be some big trades, but I don't see how they can Keep Karl after this season, especially with all dumb comments he made to the media over the course of the year.

Just speculation.... I always thought about who Ray Allen could possibly be traded for? He's a star but not quite yet superstar. He seems like the type that wont be traded because he's to valuable to the Bucks but undervalued to other teams. i.e. it would probably take another big name player to deal him and I dont think other teams are willing to do that.

Cassell is solid but will never be a star.

Glenn Robinson reminds me a little bit of Antoine Walker but with less talent.

I think the best trade bait for the Bucks is Tim Thomas. They can probably package Thomas/ Cassell or Robinson and get a nice player.

Does anybody know if this is true, NBC said last Sunday that the Pacers would have the tiebreaker, but ESPN is saying the BUCKS have the tiebreaker! Either way, you don't play defense, and you don't rebound, you're not going anywhere! Milwaukee misses Lindsey Hunter and Scott Williams BADLY!

No one has ever missed Lindsey Hunter. The only thing Hunter does consistently is choke when confronted with the slightest hint of a pressure situation. The NBA's all time king of the chokers.

They're bad because of injuries and chemistry problems. Mason has thrown their game off.

I am pretty sure Milw is 3-1 versus the Pacers and 3-0 (with 1 to play) versus Toronto--thus they should hold the tiebreakers with both.

Tim Thomas seems one of the most overrated overpaid players in the league (he signed a big contract last year right). To me it is pretty sad a guy his size with a good shot and decent athleticsm just seems to do so little on the floor. KT would be a better player for Milwalkee than TT has been.

I don't think Ray Allen is conceited, I do think he is overrated. He simply is not one of the elite 2 guards in the league and I believe Pierce has solidly passed him towards reaching the Kobe-McGrady-AI-Carter group of elite 2s and Allen has fallen further from the pack.

That Milw-Indy game did suck. Indy almost has control of their destiny. If they go 3-0 they only need Milw to lose 1 game or the Raps to lose 1 more game in addition to the Milw game. Wost case scenario is Tor loses to Milw + one more game and we might not get the pick at all. Let us hope they lose to Wash or Clev on the roaqd to take some pressure off the Raps and/or the Raps win tomarrow putting them in good position.

Most of an 82 game season is not pressure-filled; his role (along with Scott Williams') on that team would've easily been enough to vault them at least 5 games higher and probably into a situation where they'd be fighting for home court and the Central Division instead of lottery balls/a playoff berth.

The playoffs are a whole different story, but his presence is definately missed as the season has gone along.

Sorry, clark, but any hint of anything important (regular season or playoffs) and Hunter wilts like crazy. Incredibly enough, it happens on offense and defense. This has been the story of his entire career and it is why he's been traded for crap twice. He can not be counted on. I've watched him for years and years.

Karl was quoted as ripping Detroit for trading Hunter for nothing and saying he would never do that to a decent player. After having Hunter on the roster for a year, he did the same exact thing.

I can see where Scott Williams being gone made a difference (as much off the court as for his energy on it), but mainly it's just Mason sucking the life out of them and their injuries.

Hobbs-If you think that Rafer Alston is an upgrade over Lindsey Hunter, you should enroll yourself into rehab.

Alston's such a great backup PG, that when Cassell was hurt, Redd started at SG, and Allen was shifted to PG.
