These never get old. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...-military-mom-for-the-first-time-in-8-months/
This statement is sad because it means that "news", according to you, should only be murders, rapes and terrible things? Why is it a problem for a feel good story to be "news"? Are you always so negative?
No, Lie two nights ago I started watching these on youtube and stayed up to 2am crying all alone at my PC. Amazing video, thanks clutch. DD
A very touching story. But the first thing that popped into my mind was that this young man probably does not know how to swim statistically speaking. I read in the Internal Journal of Swimming a while back that roughly 70% of young black males do not know how to swim. For whites the number is at 40% and for young Latinos the rate is at 60%. There are many societal and legacy factors hypothesized as to why this is the case today despite swimming pool access has multiplied throughout all parts of the cities in the United States over the last fifty years. But I think this is something that definitely should be looked into further by the proper authorities to prevent unnecessary deaths of young urban males.
^ I don't know why you ask "why are you so terrible?"... first let's determine if it's terrible that I ask a question. What, I can't ask? And the guy before you that says that the news girl is hot in a "touching" story like this... that's OK to you and you don't say HE is terrible? LOL! LOL! DaF*Q? It's not a statement. It's a question. If you can't answer just don't answer or say "I don't know the answer." I'll respect if you can't answer. It's not negative. I'm simply asking how come they put this in the news, as if it's an event that is out of the ordinary... because, the way I see it, now it's not so extraordinary, with so many times and people doing this so many times, so I'm wondering why it's not in maybe "Today" or "This morning on NBC" or maybe those other shows like The Talk. Maybe it could be sponsored by one of the Armed Forces, or done everyday... but... I don't think it's news, in just my opinion. Had it been on maybe one of those magazine shows, or TMZ, or even one of those morning ones, I'd say it's a good story for them to cover.
It's not a complaint. It's a question. A complaint would be: "#)$^#%^!!!! This crap is on the news!!!!" My question was: "Why is this on the news?" See the difference? Please answer my question, though. Seriously, you know?
Neither is rape, murder, robbery, suicide bombings, or school shootings... yet, they're on the news all the time... And in the case of rape, murder or robbery, it's not always to raise preventative awareness... or help catch a criminal... Often times it's shown with the culprit already in cuffs at the scene of the crime... So, it's just done to inform you on terrible the world is around you... Why, not inform the public of how uplifting it can be on a regular news program...?
