This doesnt even make sense. The Kings stink. Why in the world do they need another mediocre MLE contract that wont make a difference in terms of getting into the playoffs. Stupid move.
im thinking brad miller may be on the way out also in that bibby deal Bibby and Miller for Gooden, Hughes, and fillers? still, it doesn't make a ton of sense.
Call me crazy, but I'd rather have Scola than Mikki Moore, and his contract is only 3yrs/$10MM vs the $18MM Moore got. I have no earthly idea why the Kings would make this move. Moore would fit best on a contending team needing a backup PF/C, not a complete non-contending rebuilding team like the Kings. Petrie has been a good GM but I question this move.

agreed, but the Kings have been linked to discussions for a Bibby - Gooden deal, so i would say its obvious they are starting over. and with moore, miller and hawes all at the Center position and all deserving of playing time. Something has to give.
I still trust Geoff Petrie as he has made some amazing deals in the past. He's got something in play.
Most of your fellows Kingsfans hate this move. I read the first 60 posts about it on the forum and nearly everyone called it crazy. I can't really see any circumstance where this makes sense but you have a very good GM.
Kidd is amazing at making his teammates look better than they really are. I dont expect Mikki to do a whole lot from here on out.
