Just heard it on espn. 2nd hand source though... Reporter said he wants to get traded because KG didn't embrace him. No man on man loving for MJ!

does someone that's knowledgeable in the CBA know if Mike James can voluntarily wave the trade kicker?

I thought the demand of a trade kicker meant that he was tired of being traded. Guess not.

Just more blather from Mr. Flakosaurus. I am sooooo glad we didn't sign him to the MLE. Too bad his mouth isn't diminishing at the same rate his game is.

Lol. You just can't take Mike James seriously. He'll contradict himself every 5 minutes. That being said, I would welcome him with open arms since we have exactly the type of team that can handle him and he would completely solidify our PG position and fill one of our glaring needs of a guy that can create his own shot.

If he waives his kicker, then here's a done deal:

    Sura
    Lucas
    #1st round pick this year

    for

    James
Minny's 2nd round pick this year.

Sura/Lucas would let them shed most of James' contract, and they swap picks with us and get another 1st rounder. They might even be able to use the extra pick as ammunition to move up in the draft if they fancy someone in particular.

    Get it done Morey.

Edit: Damn. I guess we're going to have to retire that "Get it done, CD" catchphrase.

If Minny would take back our trash/expirings for him, I would do it in a heartbeat. Absent any other legitimate/cheap options at the PG position, I would love to have MJ back; he's the PERFECT fit for this current roster we have.

He's a nutcase, but he does fit our team.

Hey, the Rockets won it all with Vernon.

And I haven't seen Mike James punch a guy 30 rows up in the stands or wave his gun outside of Gerland's.

You don't trade V-Span....just listen to other coaches rave about the guy.

Did you watch the Jazz final game, and how Tom Nisalke could not stop TALKING about how much he liked his aggressivness, especially with the way teh game is played today?

    V-Span is the future...Sura, JL3...and whatever else.....

LOL. Mike James is a complete joke. KG's a smart dude, he knows trash when he sees it.

James needs to go to Charlotte or Memphis; some team that will tolerate his jack-shooting, ballhogging self.

do you think we'd even have to give up a pick for someone that's averaging crap and making the MLE for 3 more years m_cable? I think he's causing enough chemistry problems that they just want to unload him.
