    He wont win it because he's been our 6th man for such a short time and we dont have that many games left. If we had got him in the offseason and played him off the bench, I dont think there would be any doubt about him winning the award.

    Technically, he came off the bench in Milwaukee too.

    In my mind, Ben Gordon and Stackhouse are the only legitamite candidates.

    18 pts, 3.5 rebs, 5 assists, 50% FG, 50% 3 pter, 80% FT, 1 steal

    James has what like 6 games with the Rox and he started all but 2 of them. Give me a break. Deke is a better choice.

    He won't win (or even get mentioned) but he is the the Rocket's 6th man of the year hands down.

    for his two games off the bench? he's been great no doubt but that's a disgrace to barry and mutombo who have worked their ass off and have been equally as valuable even with mike here.

    ben gordon will win it with stackhouse a close second i think.

    Those who give James 6th man of the year after 2 games must be the same people who want to fire JVG after 2 loss earlier in the season.

    They award the 6th man of the year award for the regular season, not the playoffs.

    Deke is our 6th man of the year. He's been with the Rockets all season and has definitely been a difference maker off the bench, espeically when Yao is playing passively or in foul trouble. James - a great addition yes - has only been with the team for a few weeks.

    Yeah, it has to be Ben Gordon. He's leading the league with double digit performances in the 4th quarter last I heard.

    WHy does the word PLAYOFF have the words PLAY and OFF? Wouldn't that mean that the game gets turned "off"? What's the deal with so many words in the English Language with "off" at the end? PAYOFF, PLAYOFF... ummm... I can't think of any more. I got nothing more, m_cable. Buenas noches. Good night!
