Dantonio will not be the Rockets next coach....Morey's plan is to take several weeks interviewing as a delay tactic to not have anyone until we start the recruiting of Durant. His only chance of getting Durant is to allow him to pick his next coach. This is the way Morey thinks and do yourself a favor and don't get worked up over these hacks he is interviewing the next several weeks.
I disagree. I think he wants to have someone in place to recruit KD. I doubt we make a hire without Harden being on board, and I guarantee Harden will keep KD in the loop whether KD wants him to or not. So i don't think it would turn into a LBJ/Blatt type situation. Heck, I could even see KD picking our coach through Harden!

I would love him as an offensesive assistant coach to be paired with an defensive head coach like JVG/Vogel
What's the deal... Morey has to talk to a huge number of coaches to find somebody that's in lockstep with his ideologies? If two people agree on everything... then one of them is not needed.
