The ones people have told me about are:

    1.) 2222 Smith

    2.) Camden Midtown

    3.) AMLI Midtown

    4.) Calais at Courtlandt Square

Any others anyone might recommend? Some have said the Post Midtown but from what I recall that place has gone downhill.

Anyone with personal experience with any of these?

I have lived at Camden Midtown for the last 3 1/2 years. I love it. Close to everything including the metro train.

i live at metro midtown (formerly AMLI midtown) and i can't complain. except for the guy who couldn't set our alarm up, they generally respond to service requests, are nice if you go to the office, and the area is pretty nice.

only downsides would be that you can easily hear stuff out in the hallway through the walls (luckily my roommate has the bedroom on the hallway) and that if you want a 1/1, you're looking at $1100+, which seems high to me. our 2/2 is going to be $1491 next year, which isn't that bad.

since my roommate is moving to nashville, i'll be moving somewhere else, probably the med center, with cheaper 1/1's, but not b/c this isn't a good place to live.
