We're at the mid-point mark and I wanted to see what everyones finals predictions were. It's pretty obvious for our conference, either the Spurs or Lakers. The east on the other hand may be debatable. Here are my predictions: West: Spurs/Lakers = Lakers East: Heat/Celtcs= Celtics Finals: Lakers/Celtics=Lakers This is what I would prefer: West: Spurs/Lakers= Spurs East: Heat/Celtics= Heat Finals: Heat/Spurs= Heat!!
For me, its Cetics/Heat and Lakers/Spurs right now. With a Lakers/Heat finals, that will break every ratings record ever set. Good luck getting tickets for those games...
West: Rockets vs Lakers. Rockets sweep. East: Heat vs Boston. Heat win. Finals: Rockets vs Heat. Rockets sweep. Chuck Hayes is Finals MVP. Chris Bosh cries. LeBron James faints.
Using my advanced statistics and analysis I would assume that Cleveland will win this year, Dan Gilbert remains professional and Lebron closes his twitter account after someone 'hacks' it and speaks Lebron's mind.
WEST: Lakers vs Thunder. Lakers win EAST: Bulls vs Heat. Bulls win FINALS: Bulls vs Lakers. Bulls win.
West Spoiler 1. lakers 2. spurs 3. mavs 4. jazz 5. thunder 6. hornets 7. portland 8. memphis (took denver out because of melo trade) WCF = lakers / spurs with lakers advancing East Spoiler 1. heat 2. celtics 3. bulls 4. magic 5. hawks 6. knicks 7. pacers 8. bucks ECF = heat / bulls with bulls advancing Finals Spoiler lakers over bulls in 6
Minnesota is tied with the Heat with less then one second left in 4th quarter of game 7. Kevin Love has one free throws after a foul. Kahn is at first delighted that his team will win, them remembers the letter the organizition wrote earlier in the year that said the T-Wolves wouldn't win the championship. Not wanting to look like a liar, Kahn trades Love for Brian Cook. Cook eventually makes it to the game and chucks the free throw and bounces off the backboard, just when it looks like the game will go into OT, the ball boucnes off of Juwan Howard and the Timberwolves win the championship. A furious Lebron demands a trade and the Heat fall aprt. Kahn resigns after failing to deliver his promise of not winning. Juwan Howard grins as he has successfully destroyed another franchise.
