My prediction is that Peter Gammons will predict that the Cardinals will win the NL Central, and not the Astros.

    Safe bet. He always does.

If you don't think the Yankees are going to win, you haven't been watching baseball for the past five years.

I know what the Yankees have done the last few years. However, I really think that Boston will get it done this year come playoff time. They'll have Nomar healthy, the best hitter in the game in Manny Ramirez, and Pedro should be a full strength. Pedro will be dominant, Nomo and the rest of the staff will be solid, and Nomar and Manny will generate enough runs to get them by.

I want the Astros to do well, and I think we'll make it to the playoffs, but I think we're too young to get to the World Series this year, especially in the pitching staff.
