This is a cool GPS feature that I always wanted. I thought Microsoft would have been too conservative to call those areas, ghettos. I wonder how their GPS works, if you are a drug dealer, though. "Error: Windows is unable to find location" SIRI can't avoid the ghetto. http://seattle.cbslocal.com/2012/01/06/microsoft-patents-avoid-ghetto-feature-for-gps-devices/
Ahhh...I confused the reporter's words for MS's words. MS calls them unsafe neighborhoods. Thanks DD.
Oh please people...I am sure you couldn't get into the heart of Northshore into my less than 5 percent white area just off Grand Oaks...if your GPS had this feature. Just wait to get robbed in your "safe" suburban neighborhoods...since my neighbors know for a fact I don't have a pot to p*** in or a window to throw it out of.
That's how you know your neighborhood has gone downhill. When your GPS will not allow you to leave your house. And what's up with the avoiding "an open area that is subject to harsh temperatures"? You mean that when you walk or drive somewhere, you have to go... outside?!?
