    Nevermind. Just heard they hired Mark Jackson.

    Interesting hire. He should help Curry bigtime.

    The only way I see Malone saying no to the Lakers is MONEY. Those new owners would have to bid higher than the Lakers. This is good news for the future of the franchise.

    It's a group of owners. Joe Lacob is a venture capitalist that provided funding for Invisalign, Autotrader.com, and NuVasive.

    mark jackson was hired to mentor curry, and with no coaching experience he's a cheap hire.

    they needed someone to run the X's and O's. Malone is brought in with potential to take over as HC when curry is done being tutored by jackson.

    thats why malone takes this job over the lakers. there was little to no chance of becoming a HC in LA.
