Micheal Jordan v. Byron Russell One More Time LEHI, Utah -- The owner of the Utah Jazz's NBA Development League team wants to see Michael Jordan go 1-on-1 against Bryon Russell one more time. Brandt Andersen is offering a $100,000 donation to the charity of the winner's choice if he can get Jordan and Russell to play a game of 21. Jordan's jumper over Russell in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA finals gave the Chicago Bulls a 4-2 series win over Utah. Jazz fans still insist Jordan pushed off Russell. During Jordan's Hall of Fame speech, he said he was motivated by Russell's trash talk toward him during his first retirement. Andersen says he has spoken to Russell and left a message for Jordan through a mutual friend. Andersen's suggestion: Jordan vs. Russell during halftime of the Utah Flash's home opener. Lets get this straight. The owner of a D-League team will pay $100,000 to a qualified charitable organization to sell tickets because people will come to see MJ. Real charitable of him.
I know, I don't get why Jordan can't let it go. Why waste your breathe and bring it up during YOUR Hall of Fame speech
I think it should be, any time you can watch j*zz fans suffer the memory of that loss you have to take it.
It was a great entertaining story and gave some insight into what drove him. Would you prefer he talk about his bazillion dollar contract with Nike? I don't get it why people cant let go that Jordan can't let it go.
I think it was Russell that challenged Jordan by saying he could stop Jordan if he ever returned to the NBA.
Hahahaha! Whoever concocted this is stupid. They are on very very very very very different levels of skill. Jordan v. Russel? My goodness I really hope that MJ's friends would come to the rescue because this is PLAIN STUPID.
