What do you see your role as on this team?

His interview was def. a let down, but lets see what he's going to do on the court next year..

Shiiiiii and he was covered in one magazine, they wrote how we was one of the "smartest guys" next draft.

Might not be too smart, but he still a great person and player, that interview is nothing to overreact about.

You're right, T-Slack -- he's definitely young... but man, that was painful to watch. Hopefully Calipari/Kentucky adds a little media savvy to his arsenal.

I don't think it has anything to do with youth. I mean, Kyrie Irving was incredibly articulate in as early an interview as I can find. Gilchrist obviously either has a speech impediment, or is simply slow. Or he might be uncomfortable in front of a camera. And want the viewer to share in his discomfort... In any case, from all of the footages that I could find of him, which was only Youtube highlights that are probably meaningless, he looks to be one of the few players in next year's draft with franchise player potential. As long as he can play basketball, he can be stuttering John off the court for all I care. In fact I hear they say stuttering is a sign of genius, mind is faster than the tongue. At least that's what she said.
