    SYNOPSIS:
After Chuck Hayes gets the rebound on a fast break pop-and-shot miss by Gaynobli at 8:18 left on the 3rd quarter, the outlet pass to Brooks makes Aaron drive to the basket. George Hill retreats onto the basket, slapping the ball away and Aaron doesn't get a shot. The ball hits the floor an then hits Aaron's thigh, and it starts to go out of bounds and so does Hill. George puts HIS RIGHT FOOT out of bounds and with the other foot still inbounds, he slaps the ball with his hand while already out of bounds. After he slaps it, Aaron loses control and Tim Duncan grabs the ball and gives it back to Hill, who comes back from out of bounds.

Ref is standing RIGHT THERE. RIGHT #(*#&&#@)$%*&) THERE, at least 6 feet from the play on the baseline. He didn't call it. Almost all the Rockets are blocked from view, so no one argues this.

The name of this horror movie is "George Hill was out of bounds" and it reminds me of the Finley Freakin' Fiasco.

I sincerely and wholeheartedly hate NBA officials.

And don't come in here telling me "oh, we were losing already, SwoLy, don't sweat it... we lost badly at the end..."

Well, guess what? If the National Blind Association refs call it properly, the Rockets get the ball UNDER THE BASKET for a chance to cut the lead to four and posibly three. :(

NBA Officials should be fined for this type of "missed call" just like players get fined for TECHNICALs.

    ARGH! I can't go to sleep. :(

wow swoly you should have a self-imposed ban of no posting on cf for a day for that error of saying george hill was jordan hill, not once but twice.

This. There were so many horrible calls tonight that it's not even worth mentioning.

If this happened in a playoff game or a regular season game that mattered I would be pissed, but since its not i could care less.

See, this mentality is what also pisses me off. Why do you only notice it "when it's a playoff game"?!?!?

I also complain when a bad call goes OUR way. Fair is fair. National Blind Association Referees.

I just kept on watching the video and waiting for Jordan Hill to make an appearance.

"what the hell is swoly talking about?"

AH - Jordan Hill shrunk 5 inches, changed jerseys and names! Makes sense now

    Officiating sucks.

The_Yoyo: I'm cursing in SPANISH, yo.
    Fixed it already.

I see how mediocre officiating doesn't get your blood boiling, RoxSquad. ;)

this is nothing compared to what finley did...hill was jumping and happened to hit the ball as he landed, call could go either way. finley was having a picnic out of bounds when he touched the ball.

Not if you're a trained professional official. I caught that the first time WITHOUT a replay. FAR AWAY. With a worse eye level. Seriously? We can catch these but these refs cannot? Weird.

Hey! I didnt get on your case for saying Jordan Hill instead of George.

Why bust my balls for spelling Squad wrong?? :(

I must live with that every day.

I could have just made a new name, but i stuck with it.

you should get a medal then...but perhaps posting the actual vid and at a better angle would help. Your image skips frames, so it's impossible to clearly see the moment he touched the floor and where his hand was at the time...not to mention from that angle it would be hard to tell when he was just above the floor and when he actually touched it. Finally, you dont know the position the refs were in, from their view it could have looked like he saved it prior to landing, maybe a player was obstructing their view. Much worse calls to b**** about than this..

George Hill absolutely annihilated us tonight. For that reason and due to the sheer fact that we didn't deserve to win this one, I refuse to cry over one possession. I know it's fun to throw around comparisons but this was by no means comparable to Michael Finley's infamous out of bounds play in the playoffs.

I actually thought the worse call missed tonight was that phantom "charge" on Lowry when the defender was in the semi circle. He was literally under the basket and Kyle got called for a charge.

Possibly the easiest call in the world and the ref blew it.....
