1. They shut down Wade for the year (he goes off for 30+ one game and is out the next). 2. Marion out tonight (I'd bet some big money he sits out a handful of games). 3. Riley drooling at Wade + Marion (if he resigns, if not then a big money player) + Michael Beasley (with having the best odds at the #1 pick). I hope they get the #4 pick by virtue of karma.
I always thought marion was overrated and now it is showing. sure dwade is out, but if marion was THAT good you would of thought that marion and wade alone could win a few games
When you have almost 5 times as many losses as wins on the season, it's difficult to not to be in the full tank mode.
Remember how it worked out for the Celtics last season. Not getting the #1 pick was the best thing that happened to them. If the Heat get Beasley, look for Marion to go on the trading block again, which is his favorite place. If they get Rose, they might consider keeping him long term.
If Brand opts out, they are going after him. Wade, Brand, Marion, and Rose. Pretty formidable there and quick rebuild.
