Why do the Clippers trade for Eddie Jones?

Yes, the Clippers would love to add 2 SG's when they already have Richardson, Maggette, and Pike. They might as well start a whole team of just 5 Guards.

I think that might be the first trade I have ever seen that is bad for every team involved.

Houston doesn't get screwed too bad unless Odom gets suspended again, but Posey is holding down the SF fine. If Griffin comes close to reaching his potential though, you will have a huge net loss, especially if the number one pick is high.

Miami trades a starting quality SG and a high pick for a backup quality PF and an overrated PG that can't shoot and couldn't do anything with a Clippers lineup that was loaded with talent. They are really putting a lot of faith in Griffin, especially considering they already have Brian Grant on a max contract.

The clippers trade away a good SF (their second weakest position) for 2 SGs (their deepest position). Maybe you are thinking they pull a Dallas and play Dooling, Q, Mobley, Jones, Brand as thier lineup (assuming they resign Brand)?
