Feel really bad for LeBron, 8 years in the league and he still can't get the monkey off his back despite being blessed with such an athletic body and a natural basketball IQ. Hopefully 1 day he'll get the elusive, asterisk free ring he deserves, but you know nobody outside of Miami will really care. Yawn. *Won in lockout shortened season, after colluding with other 2 other franchise players.
Jordan was in the league in 1995, so not sure what you're implying but it's pretty ignorant and low of you to compare a graceful swan like Hakeem who took role players to two championships to LeBron, who needed 2 of the league's top 5 players at the time. The asterisk has nothing to do with Rose being injured.
I'm going to come out and congratulate Lebron James and the Heat with no snarkiness. He answered his critics and came up big against a team that was hot. He showed heart when it counted. I will probably never be a Lebron fan but he earned this championship.
What I find hilarious is that dumbass Cleveland owner letter about how Cleveland will win one before Lebron ever does. I thought he was going to eat those words at the time very soon after he wrote it. Miami promptly went to the Finals last season in Lebron's first year there...and then they finish it off this season to win it all. Obviously, the Cleveland owner has no clue and the letter was amateur hour on his part with a lot of bitter crybaby-isms in it. SUCK IT, CLEVELAND OWNER! You were a r****d then and you are still a r****d, now.
Yeah, I feel bad for the guy. It's taken him so long to get to this point, and all for what? A big, fat, asterisk. DRob felt his pain to an extent, but it wasn't so bad because he was on the downhill of his career and didn't have the emotional burden of knowing he colluded. That's why you're faintly hearing a lot of golf claps with insiders inside of standing ovations that champs usually get. The league had this season to make it's money and honor media contracts, but the true blood, sweat and tears of an NBA season just can't be captured in a little abbreviated time capsule. This was one was for show, and the fairweather fans. I mean, it's practice. We talkin bout practice. Not a 48 minute game. Hopefully, he'll have a shot in a legitimate season but ... but a little someone called Kevin Durant might have something to say about that.
F**K asterisks- they all played the same number of f**kin playoff games as any other f**kin season, so f**k all that f**kin nonsense about f**kin asterisks- f**kin moron fans are the ones who whine about this f**kin crap. Take your f**kin idiocy somewhere else, you ******* ******** on a ***** ****** who likes to ***** ********** ********* when he's ******* ************** *** ************ ** * ********.
Not sure if the OP just dislikes LeBron James. I doubt you'd be saying the same thing if any team besides the Heat, won. Bosh is barely in the top 5 PF discussion, let alone top 5 in the game. Wade was great for 4 games in Indiana, but LeBron was the star, in the Finals. Does the lockout really impact the championship? The playoffs wasn't shortened. Practices were practically non-existent, sure, but teams had 66 games to gel. It's not like the regular season was 5 games, and then boom, playoffs.
I don't usually listen to Colin Cowherd, but hes making a good argument for the Heat and against the Thunder for both their futures in the next couple of years.
