I like their music but seeing them, annoys me. It was kind of like when I saw Stone Roses videos and it made me not like the members of the band even though I loved their music. That whole Stone Roses scene had a particular style of dance that just screamed about the dancer being a a-hole. This may not be quite as bad, but it is similar. I still like their music.
They were in Houston as the headliner a few months ago. Yeasayer opened for them. It was one of the best shows I had seen in Houston in a long while. They also played SXSW in Austin in March. They have this 3D video for Time to Pretend on their website, which is really great if you have 3D glasses.
I love the Justice remix of Electric Feel and the Soulwax remix of Kids. Both definite top 10 for the year
I love me some MGMT. If you guys like their sound, you should also check out Of Montreal. They'll be in Houston in November. I actually like them a bit more than MGMT.
I love all three of those songs! Time to Pretend, Electric Feel, Kids. Although the lyrics are pretty wack.
