When given the playing time, Oscar flourishes. Some may say that Oscar is a shooting guard, but he is 6'6" and can play small forward just fine. Start Torres at 3 and have TMo back him up. Terence is not even close to starting, but Torres is. GIVE HIM SOME MORE TIME!!!

He went five for six (12pts) in only 14 min. at Charlotte tonight. His recent absence from the line up after a stint where he was averaging almost 20 per game with reasonable minutes is a mystery to me.

There's no doubt Torres needs to be in there ahead of Tmo. I was glad when Rudy finally sat Morris. He was doing next to nothing. Torres should have played more, his shot looked good tonight.

Well, Oscar played well at first but went through a long cold streak. TMo shot poorly but still did other things at first and finally for a few games started shooting OK. Who was TMo playing on defense and who guarded TMo? It's more of a matchup thing. Plus if we let Oscar play too much, he'll get a monster extension like Moochie/Cato :).

Oscar is a good 6th man, with Griffin, Francis, & Cat, and KT, we have 4 good scorers on the floor at the start....

OT should get more minutes, but I don't mind him coming in as 6th man to light up the 2nd unit.

I wish we could combine TMo passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense with OT shooting. Then TMo would be rookie of the year...

I like TMo and what he brings, but Oscar plays defense as well as TMo other than the rebounding. Oscar is a better shooter and quicker (more steals). I seem to remember Shandon Anderson playing the 3 at the same height as Oscar, but Oscar seems to be a lot better shooter. He can get out and run! Did anyone else notice that both Steve and Cat came up to Oscar at the end of the first half and walk off the court with him?

which reminds me, why don't the Rockets run more? They play a lot better when they have the defense on the move.

You noticed too? LOL! Oscar was justing walking to the bench for the timeout and Steve cameup on one side and rubbed his head while Cat was on the other with his arm around his shoulders.

 That was one sick pass that Stevie had to Oscar. It was unbelievably awesome.

Oscar "The Tornado" Torres plays great and will end up being very good but to me he looks like a 6'5 shooting gaurd. Oscar "Torrid" Torres rox and the person who said if you combine Morris's body and all around game with Oscars shooting you'd have the rookie of the year is right. I just wonder if Oscar is willing to play out of position or behind Cat. I want him back but he should get offers this offseason. Oh also was the title of this thread a play on the song by the Specials?

Oscar is much better than TMo and every time Oscar gets minutes he plays great. TMo hasn't done anything as a starter.

I agree, TMo shouldn't be starting for KT right now. OT is talented, without a doubt, but he usually doesn't show that talent if he doesn't get the minutes. Starting OT is a great idea, he gets the minutes and we'll get to see him add a lot to the Rocket offense. I don't want to base too much off of one game, but I remember a Spurs-Rockets game where Torres came out and hit big shots to keep the Rockets in the game. He'd be a great sixth man.
