I agree. It wasn't funny, but the self-righteousness is getting a little deep, fellas. I'm guessing, since I'm sure you want to be intellectually consistent, that you will continue to be just as offended by Chappelle, Rock, Mencia, et al. And I hope your future posts reflect such abhorrence.
I didn't see anything offensive at all about what he said. It has nothing to do with cancer or the victims. It just has to do with what it sounds like - "Breast Awareness Month". I am the faculty sponsor for a Colleges Against Cancer club; last year we did a lot for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and that same joke was made quite a few times. We sold T-shirts that mentioned it on the front and said "Get To Know Yourself Once A Month" on the back. Those, of course, were for girls. I have one but have often been scared to wear it because I'm afraid people might... ummm, start to think stuff. (girls with smaller chests may not have to worry about that ) The guys' shirt was more suggestive - something about liking breasts? I can't remember. Anyway, the joke is about the name of the month and nobody here ever had a problem with it.
I actually don't find sexist/mentally challenged material funny in the least. I'm Rick James, b****? That's poking fun at James, not women. However, both could be funny to the right audience...breast cancer? Not really funny at all.
Not funny to you... Chappelle's and Mencia's jokes are blatantly tasteless and it's the result of PC police that makes them so popular. So calling women b****es, offering them as objects to settle a grudge, or having a mind destroyed by cocaine isn't sexist/mentally challenged material?
