Men’s USA Basketball

Average age is 30+ and there are no elite NBA prospects coming until 2025. USA Basketball needs some fresh talent.

 

If I were Embiid, I wouldn't play.

 

I would say the 12th should be Kawhi but maybe there's enough injury risk with Embiid/AD/KD. They may also wanna get a guy that is more willing to be more of a role player. Maybe Jaylen Brown or PG.

Also, can we talk about how geriatric these starters are looking?

Also, I don't really get the Bam addition. LeBron can basically do everything he does and they're about the same size.

They need another big. Embiid and AD can’t be relied on to make it to the Olympics or to play every game.

This team is clearly to market the NBA - there aren't many up and comers on that team, and the fact that it is in PARIS means all the old guys will want to go play.

It should all be under 25 . . .no older than 30
Going after you are 30 is about bringing yourself some glory and accolades. . .not about USA Pride/etc
