I was at the game and I would like to thank Memphis for fouling McGrady with .2 seconds left when they were down by 6 points; just so that we fans could get a Big Mac. That was classy!!! First Big Mac I get in a heck of a lot of games I've been to. Thank you Memphis for the opportunity. And OH, yeah, thanks Tracy for nailing both free throws.
They should give a big Mac on every pts scored by Houston and on every defensive stop we have. They ought to bring the crowd to live if they dont die choking.
You know, I never thought I'd see the words "classy" and "Big Mac" used together in the same sentence without any hint of sarcasm or ironic intent.
The sad thing is that it's true. I know the attendence says 17,000+, but the stadium doesn't look or sound like that at all. And people wonder why the Rockets don't play well at home.
It's painfully true. T-Mac was probably thinking: "Is this what it takes to get this people fired up?"
I'm sure the reason is because the Rockets offer a free big mac on nights when the Rockets score 100 or hold the opponent under 80. If the Rockets didn't give out those 5-6 big macs per year to a few thousand fans, Houston wouldn't be the fattest city.
I was there and I was screaming my head off in the lower level. I was way too into the game to even think about others. I can't believe it was my first game of the season. It was worth it
