he averaged 14ppg 11.5rpg and 2.5bpg in only 25mpg in this years summer league. granted, thats in a span of only 2 games, and his olympic numbers are from only 5 games. 7 games is a pretty small sample size, but he's been consistently dominant on the boards and blocking shots. all while showing a good scoring touch. he hasn't had any stinker games so i'm guessing these 7 games aren't a fluke. if thats the case, great pickup the the grizz.
Cool news, glad that he finally made it. I'm not iranian but it's cool that basketball is growing and that players from less known basketball-countries are able to play against the best.
This made me laugh. I'm intrigued by the player though because of the games he did have in the Olympics and such. We'll see if it transitions into a nice NBA career.
I thought the Rockets had been mentioned to talk to this guy also. How come we couldn't take this dude from Memphis? We really need another good backup center.
Probably because he doesn't want to come to a team where the guy starting in front of him is the best center in the game.
So if we are interested, then the guy automatically signs up to play for us We gave it a shot, but obviously Memphis were willing to offer more $ and/or perhaps they offered him playing time. What could we possible say - come over and join the team and backup Yao Ming for the next 3 seasons. I'd love to have Hadadi on our roster, but if the guy thinks he's good enough to ball, then we're in no position to guarantee minutes (until Ming gets injured - but that's another story!)
After Wang ZZ, Mengke Bateer, Yao Ming, The HA Guy, Yi and Sun, Hadadi will be the seventh Asian to play in the NBA. As an asian, I m happy for him and hope him does well!
They didn't, they got permission. The media sensationalized the restriction, but in the end, it was a work visa with a bad ass name.
whats memphis gona do with marc gasol and darko? you think we got a chance at darko? he sucks but hes a backup
no one knows if the rockets tried or not. maybe he was more interested in the amount of playing time they were offering.
<br> Ha Jeung sin or whateverrr (the guy from the trailblazers) has to be one of the ugliest people I have ever seen. Ever.
