Ah like our first loves, our first cars will never be forgotten. What was you first car? I got mine when I was 17, a 1994 Acura Integra! Here's pic: [/IMG] What was your first car?
tags fail. FORD ESCORT GL. Bought it for $350 without a battery. Fixed it. Worked for 8 months after that. I got my Dad's 81 Chevy Silverado short bed P/U...I loved that truck, until the A/C went out...then slowly but surely, we were working every weekend on that Piece of crap for what seemed like a year once it was about 7 years old...
1974 VW Bus (handed down from the big brother)... mine was more of a tomato soup color than a deep red though.
'88 toyota celica. i didn't know jack **** about maintenance so i drove that thing without transmission fluid for a couple of months. needless to say, not good. lasted about 4 years...it was totaled after it broke down on me and i left it on the shoulder of the freeway. some dude fell asleep at the wheel while entering the ramp. i remember getting a phone call from the police at about 2 am asking if anyone was in teh car. i was gonna get it towed the next morning. my parents bought the car for me. my first car I ever bought was a 2002 honda accord, which i'm still driving today.
2001 Toyota 4Runner. car looks exactly like this one . it's been an outstanding car and still driving it (since 2005)
Wow man "memories" is right. Mine was a 1990 Mazda 626, feces green with brown rust spots EVERYWHERE, driver side window didn't roll down and after 5 minutes of driving the car shook like it was having a seizure the rest of the way. May that car burn in hell.
and that damn gas reader that didn't work, lots of guessing and a few oh crap I'm out of gas going on......good times...
Hell I was happy as hell when I got my next car and could actually tell! Unfortunately my next car overheated like crazy and that gauge worked very well.
1969 International Harvester Scout Well it was 1970. It had a vanity plate with my family's last name on it, in a small town where my dad was well known by everyone. So I got reported for every place I was that shouldn't be and sometimes for doing things I didn't even do.
