GET RID OF THE DAMN SOUND EFFECTS! Watching Rockets - Kings, and I was about to make fun of you guys hardcore for playing the damn bouncing ball sound effect along with the swish. Then I heard the siren going off when the shot clock hit 5. There's no way that ANY arena announcer is that dumb, so I put 2 and 2 together and realized it was NBA TV. Hey guys, how about just letting us WATCH THE DAMN GAME!
Why do I have to pay for this channel? And then on top of that, they don't show it on any LP preview channel...
It stopped sometime between the halfway mark of the second quarter and the beginning of the 2nd half. Every time a stat would come up across the bottom, they'd either have a bouncing ball sound effect or a swish. The siren on the shot clock (as soon as it reached 5 -- sounded like an alarm clock) did continue all game though.
Nuggets4, How did you like that "rally" CANNON at Toyota Center? They stopped that ***crap*** after half-time. What's crazy is that they were doing it after each Kings bucket!
Oh God, so I was wrong. It WAS the Rockets? You guys have people at the arena that are THAT stupid? Wow. I apologize to NBA TV. I am also thankful that the Rockets realized it was a bad idea by halftime.
NBA Tv was doing something because I switched to CH.51 KNWS and all that was gone it usually came up when new stats and facts came up below the score box ie Mutombo 4th player to record 3,000 blocks Friday or something
Is that what that damn banging noise was? Sounded like someone beating on a drum really hard. Whatever it was it was horribly annoying. I also agree with the above posts. The shot clock sound effects from NBATV were also really distracting.
KaiSeR SoZe /Nuggets4, you were right. It WAS NBATV! The ticker at the bottom updates latest stats from the game. At every change, there's a "BOOM" sound, and then they list player history stats and you'll hear a "SWISH" sound. I just watched the game again. F&^$!! F()$ Y$(#YFH*)@!@!!!! DAB NAMMIT! That stupid siren sound when the shot clock is winding down is the same sound my alarm clock makes. And, besides having an ex-girlfriend say something along the lines of "I'm late," that's the worst sound in frickairn world! Thumbs down to channel 601.
i was watching the warriors mavs game today... and when the shot clock winds down they have this annoying beeping sound. and on top of that... for half the game, there was no play by play commentary. which isnt so bad, i guess.
